Netball

Another great netball tournament.

The first game was a bit of a shock to the whole team as there was a very tall shooter. They lost that game but won the next one. Although they lost the next game to St Albans, who won overall, the team displayed great netball skills and the St Albans coach even commented that the score didn’t reflect the excellent skills that Shelford demonstrated. They went on to win the next two games which placed them 3rd in the group overall.

Mrs Crew was extremely impressed with the team as the first loss did not put them off. They just got better and better with each game.

A special thank you to Nikki Wilkinson and Miss Wesley as excellent Team Managers!
Netball
Monday 18th March 2019 at Sawston Village College

On Monday 18th March my team and another team went to Sawston School for a netball tournament. We played five games. We played for eight minutes in each game. We won 4-0 in one, lost 4-0 in another, lost 1-0 in another, won 2-0 in another and won one 1-0. In the end we came 6th (and the other team 8th). We had a great day.

Football Tournament
11th October 2018 at Netherhall School

When nine excited children arrived at a school in Cambridge everyone felt the buzz as we spotted our friends in other teams. We all loved the games though the competition was hard. In the end we came seventh. We hoped to come higher but still had an amazing time.
