Lunch club is an optional add-on session for children attending Rainbow, subject to availability. It runs from 12:00 until 13:00 every day, at the same hourly rate as other sessions. Children bring a packed lunch, which they eat together as a group, and there is time for play at the end. This is an opportunity for children to experience eating independently with other children and is therefore good preparation for school.
If your child has any know allergies, please let a member of staff know.
Note that small fruits such as grapes must be chopped lengthways and then in half again (see guidance below on choking hazards).
In line with Great and Little Shelford Primary School, we are a nut-free site. We kindly ask that you do not include the following in your child’s packed lunch:
- Portions of any kind of nuts.
- Nutella or peanut butter sandwiches.
- Pesto pasta with pine nuts or similar nut ingredients.
- Fizzy drinks, sweets or chocolates. You may include a drink, otherwise water will be provided.
